Rewriting the rules of diet, weight loss, and health with Dr. David Ludwig

What if everything you ever knew about weight gain was wrong? Endocrinologist and Harvard researcher Dr. David Ludwig has been turning conventional wisdom about weight gain on its head, and his new book Always Hungry? tells us why. In our chat, Dr. Ludwig tells us that it’s the process of gaining weight that makes us hungry, and that body weight is more about biology than will power. He also tells us that insulin is Miracle Grow for our fat cells, and how we can affect insulin by what we eat. In fact, when we overeat the wrong foods, we may be actually starving our bodies!

Best of all, he gives us hope by explaining how changing what we eat will actually keep the cravings at bay, almost effortlessly. It’s fascinating, life-changing stuff!
